Privacy Policy — Expense Tracker

Expense Tracker ("the app") is a personal expense-tracking app published by CodeKin Creations. This policy explains, honestly and plainly, how the app handles your information. The short version: the app does not collect any of your data, and there is no server operated by us.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or financial data. We operate no backend server that receives your information.

Where your data lives

• On your device. Your expenses, budgets, and settings are stored locally on your device.
• Receipt scanning is on-device. When you photograph a receipt, the image is read using on-device text recognition (Google ML Kit on Android). The photo and the recognized text never leave your device and are never sent to us or any third party.
• Backup is in your own Google Drive. If you choose to back up, your data is saved to a private application folder in your own Google Drive account (appDataFolder). It is governed by Google's terms and privacy policy. We never receive or access this backup — only you do.

Permissions we request

• Camera / Photos — only to capture a receipt for on-device text recognition.
• Google Drive access — only to save and restore your backup in your own Drive, at your request.

Third parties & tracking

The app contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking SDKs.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app removes the data stored on your device. You can delete your backup at any time from your own Google Drive.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
